With reference to your letter of the 3rd instant, I am commanded by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of His Grace the Duke of Newcastle, that they have no objection to the expenditure of the further sum of £4842. 17. 21/2. for the completion of the Wai Chow Works.
