The Lords Commissioners of the Treasury had before them your letter of the 15th Instant enclosing Copy of a Despatch from the Officer administering the Government of Hong Kong forwarding the Ordinance, No. of 1863, "to apply a Sum not exceeding $477,000 to the Public Service of the year 1864", together with Expenditure for the Estimate of Revenue for the same year, and Their Lordships desire to acquaint you, for the information of the Governor, that They have no Objection to the Estimate, or to the Confirmation of the Ordinance.
