In reply to your letter of 11th Instant I am commanded by their Lordships Commissioners of the Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of the Duke of Newcastle, that they see no objection to the several Reports and Estimates, noted in the schedule which accompanied your letter, for Miscellaneous and Public Works at Hong Kong amounting in the whole to £41,401.52
