228 I am directed by the Lords of the Committee of Privy Council for Trade to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 26th ultimo stating that the equivalent in sterling of the amount paid by the Hong-Kong Government to a Chinese Junk Master for the conveyance of the crew and passengers of the wrecked ship "Ardville" is Two hundred and eight pounds six shillings and eight pence.
