Grate the Duke of Newcastle for all his kindness and all the trouble he has had in the matter of the Box of seeds. One may
by making to Mr. Gilley at the Gend. Post Office
the contents of your Letter of the 14th inst viz. that His Grace
in the front of the
prepared
Colony of Hong Kong to
forward the delivery of the Box to me, "on payment of the sum
which would have been charged if it had been
done here"
I desired it to be taken at once to the Secretary of the Penins. & Oriental Nang. Co., who returned it to me with enclosed Letter.
I shall therefore, thankfully
