M Hammond presents his
compliments to Lord John Russell and, with
reference to the Letter from the Colonial Office of the 10th instant is directed by Lord Russell
to state, for the information of his Grace the Duke of Newcastle that the Queen's Exequatur empowering
the Swedish M. Ludwig Wiese to act as Consul at Victoria, Hong Kong,
has this day received Her Majesty's Signature.
