Procureur Général at Bordeaux and that the Imperial Court there had discharged the case alleging that the proof of the complicity of the Captain was not Established.
Mr. Drouge de things pursues forwards, and a paper herewith annexed Concerning an Explanation of the Motives which led to the decision, and be added that the Minister of Marine having been informed of the circumstances of the case, interdicted the Captain in question from the Command of any Ship.

Par la lettre qu'elle m'a fait l'honneur de m'écrire, le 29 Décembre dernier, V. E. m'a exprimé, au nom de S. M. B., le désir de savoir quel a été le résultat de la poursuite, aux autorités Françaises, du nommé Capitaine du navire la Ville de Lyon, que le gouverneur de Hong Kong avait fait arrêter, comme accusé d'avoir pris part à une entreprise frauduleuse d'émigration sur la Côte sud-ouest de la Chine.
Ce marin ayant été transféré en France pour y être jugé, M. le Procureur Général de Bordeaux, sur l'invitation de M. le Garde des Sceaux,
