With reference to my dispatch No. 86 of the 26th instant, I transmit to you for your information, the inclosed copy of a letter from the Crown Agents, reporting that the Bronze Coins, prepared by the Mint in this country for the use of Hong Kong are now ready for shipment, and that they have authorized the Master of the Mint to draw upon them for the sum of £2,470, 18. 4d. for the expenses.
