The Members of the Committee moreover are desirous, through me, of recording their opinion of the advantage which has been derived from the intelligence great and general attention to business exhibited by that gentleman, and, if it be not travelling beyond the limits of their commission, of recommending him to the favourable consideration of the Government, in any case hereafter arise, in which services of a similar character be required.
