Copies of a letter received from Mr. Forth, the Colonial Treasurer, and
the reply thereto, and to report that I have, in compliance with Mr. Forth's
application, appointed Mr. Barratho
(lately employed in the Surveyor General's Department) to be a clerk in the Treasury
Department, at a salary of £600 per
annum.
