This case deserves some mark of approbation.
I would therefore beg leave to recommend to His Excellency as an incentive to good and zealous acts that each man receive a reward of $10.
And if it be the pleasure of His Excellency, that the gratuity be delivered on parade in the presence of the Force, which would not, I think, be unattended with beneficial results.
