This amounts to $23,245.13, and will be ₤4,842.17.22 provided for in the supplementary Estimate at the end of the year, by which time I hope the entire service will be completed.
The arrangement of the Water staff recommended by the Surveyor General will require more mature consideration, for which I think it advisable to delay this present application that the Wongneichung and neighbouring streams must be made available for the service of these localities.
