2. I also send a tabular statement showing the variation in the Returns now submitted as compared with those of the present year, and a Return N.4. showing the financial condition of the Colony upon the 12th instant.
The Return N.4 shows that the Assets of the Colony at the present time exceeded the liabilities by about $414,631.06 or £86,381.9.5 Sterling.

4. The Financial Estimate for the current year, which has been connected up to the present time will be found at page 3 of the Estimates now forwarded, and it is calculated that the probable excess of Assets over liabilities on the 31st December next will amount to $455,439.36 or £94,883.4.0.
