he has done satisfactorily : Your petitioner being however still weak and not quite recovered is desirous to remove himself in order that he ... and ... that ... may gain strength, therefore he prays to your Lordship you will be pleased to recommend to His Excellency the Governor, and to obtain his sanction to, the appointment of his Son Ng Mun as Shroff of the Supreme Court, and also to beg that His Excellency will be further pleased to grant your petitioner a pension so that he may have some support during his old age, and your petitioner will ever be grateful for the benevolence bestowed upon him.
