The internal dimensions of the several wards are indicated in the plans, as well as the number of beds in each ward. As a rule, 800 cubic feet have been allowed for each bed, and the distance between the beds is as a rule 8 feet.
It has been found necessary to build a separate Hospital for contagious diseases, in which a ward capable of containing 10 beds is now in course of completion.
