Chinese Interpreter at the Police Court, to be Interpreter to the Supreme and~ Summary Jurisdiction Courts, at a-

Supreme Court Estimates. Mr Rozario
has been since 1860 acting as
Interpreter of
the Supreme Court, for which he drews-
£150, being half the Salary of
the
Office
in addition to £200 that of his own.
I have withdrawn Ng Achoy, Student Interpreter at the Magistracy, from that Department, and appointed him to be
Chinese blerk and
Shroff in the new
Court at the same rate of salary bizt ま
