Chinese evidence should be received,
it is a well known fact:

and then afterwards try hard to get off their bargain, it is the case with these engaged for the West Indies
at this place and no
Emigration
can be carried on more strictly than
that is.
I have only further to observe
that I have carried out with the
utmost strictness and to the best of my ability the Emigration regulations
to
of this Port and I am willing Submit every proceeding of mine
in the matter to
any
examination
