I have the honor to forward the accompanying correspondence that has passed between the Governor of Hong Kong & myself concerning the erection of temporary huts at Kowloon for the use of the Troops now there.
There are 300 men at Kowloon & the reasons for requiring this accommodation are detailed in my letters of ... March to His Excellency Robinson.
