In this opinion. I entirely concur.

The Governor there points out a site which he respectfully considers in every way more eligible than that selected for the Military Cantonment which their Lordships will find marked in Plan 1.

In this opinion I concur as respects the Western Portion (tinted blue).

In regard to the Eastern portion I am not prepared to offer a decided opinion until it has been thoroughly surveyed, the position of the necessary buildings marked on it, and their relative height shown with respects to those which may be erected further South.

I am however under the impression that the whole of the Buildings required for the Cantonment might be obtained without doubling there as in the case of those marked A. C. D. C.
