Excellency will grant permission for the work being commenced
Notice having reached me that there has been shipped in the two Vessels between September and December nearly 12,000 tons of Coal, Navy, and which may be expected to arrive from day to day, and the present Stores being all full, or will be so when the ships now in port shall have cleared out I have further to request that Your Excellency will Authorize temporary sheds being put up to the Northward of the ground assigned for the permanent store.
