1860, (168), who stated that

the Admiralty had allowed

the sum claimed

for the

account

of

the 3 Marines;

viz: £73.8.0, – and this has

since been received

by

the

Agent General in his account for the

quarter ending 30th September

1860.

But with regard to

the claim for the

maintenance of the two

Soldiers, viz:

£46.7.11d, the

Secretary of State observed

that the cost in excess of

£16.7.11d allowed by the Military

Act, should be borne by the Colony. Accordingly, the amount to be recovered from the War Office became
