With reference to your letters of the 24th October and 21st November relative to the Kowloon Peninsula;
3. I am directed to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State, that the Secretary of State concurs with the Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty in thinking it desirable that a report upon the question of the appropriation of territory should be called for from a mixed Commission on the spot, and the necessary instructions will be given accordingly.
