In reply to your letter of the 10th Inst I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of her Majesty's Treasury to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State, that the Bank of England has been requested to give directions for the payment to the account of the Agent General for Crown Colonies at the Bank of England of the sum of £13.8 being the amount disbursed by the Government of Hong Kong for the maintenance of 5 Prisoners belonging to the Royal Marines.
