Pensions to be granted to Judicial Officers in the

Colonies-

(Considering the testimony borne by the

Late Governor of Hong Kong's to the faithful and

honourable discharge by Mr. Halme, of his high

and responsible duties, during his

fifteen years'

service

and considering the shattered

state

of his health from the effects of the

anxiety of that long service, Their Lordships are

of opinion that a Pension, at the rate of fifteen

hundred pounds per annum,

£1500 a year, may be granted to

him, payable from the General Revenue of Hong Kong.
