any : money in the Harbour Master entry was found of the receipt of the sum in question.
Search was accordingly made of Harbour Master at the present Hong Kong who reported that he had been unable to find entry of the receipt of the Harbour Master's office.
Under these circumstances my Lords will feel obliged if you will move the Secretary of State to take such steps as he may consider necessary from the legal Representatives of the late Mr. Newman in order that it may be paid over to the Estate of the Deceased.
A copy of the receipt given by the late Harbour Master is enclosed.
A copy of the letter received together with this Department from the present Harbour Master Mr. Thomsen is also enclosed.
