"The Letters Patent for investing the Supreme Court of Hong Kong with an appellate jurisdiction over suits decided by British Consuls in Japan... is now completed, and ready for transmission to the Colony.

The cost of the Patent is £32.18s. Should it be paid for out of Colonial Funds, or is the Treasury to be asked to disburse the amount?

Observe that the Order in Council of the 30th March last, to which the Patent refers, was published in the London Gazette. It will perhaps be thought proper to notify the passing of this Patent in the Gazette.
