I am directed by the Lord President of the Council to transmit to you the enclosed Order of Her Majesty in Council of this day's date approving a draft Instruction to the Courts of Admiralty, in the Majesty's Colonial Possessions, relative to the mode of proceeding on the capture, sale &c. of Vessels &c. belonging to or employed by the Enemy, or taken otherwise in the course of War, as shall be brought in for adjudication;

and I am to request that you will be pleased to lay the same before the Secretary of State for the Colonial Department.
