Copies of "Financial Statement for the year 1861" together with the Estimates upon which this appropriation has been founded.
The sum thus voted is in the Estimates, 1861, chargeable on the Consolidated Fund at home, and I have therefore thought it unnecessary to revote them in the annual appropriation Ordinance.
2.
The Estimates are exclusive of the Salaries on the Civil List, and the probable expenditure upon water works in course of construction, as both these Services have been already provided for by permanent Enactments, in the same manner as Ordinance No. 12 of 1860 and Ordinance No. 2 of 1860.
3.
The Revenue for the next year has been estimated at upwards of £80,000; the excess of Assets over liabilities on the 1st January next at £55,000; a total of £135,000 available for the service of the year.
