I beg you will convey to His Excellency Mr. Chapman's thanks for his consideration in extending his leave to Six months.
I would also ask if Mr. Chapman is at liberty to remain in his present residence after the 20th Instant or must he then resign rooms to his Locum tenens.
If Mr. Chapman is allowed to remain in his present place of Abode he will not go home for Another month at least and should his improvement Continue as satisfactorily as it has hitherto.
