Botanical notices have appeared in Hooker's Journal of Botany 1841-2. Collections made by Mr. R. B. Hinds, Surgeon H.M.S. Sulphur. Also in Journal of Horticultural Society 1844 and subsequent Numbers by Lindley, of plants collected by Mr Fortune on his first visit to China. In Walpers Annales, descriptions by Dr. Hance of Hongkong Plants. Some plants were described by the Botanist Mr Wright attached to the American exploring expedition published by that Government.
