on the 27th September 1858.-
A writ of Summons was issued out of the Supreme Court at the suit of the Attorney General against Chun-tai Awon and his two sureties for the recovery of the Amount of Bond; but as the two Chinese were not to be found in the Colony, the writ of Summons was served only on A. R. Jardine one of the Sureties.
The Bond was discharged by the said H. R. Stree and paid into the Colonial Treasury by two instalments-viz:-
October 6. Pester £1,458.6.5 and the Balance £625.
