Act declare that certain outlets be taken in a manner foreign to the Colony.

Clause 483 or thereabout should be altered so as to express what I suppose to be the intention that paths taken in the manner described should not be viewed in evidence in the Courts of Hong Kong and this Justice.

Colonial legislation is competent to do this - but it is not competent to declare how oaths may be taken.

By the 15th clause it is provided that the Hong Kong Court shall have all the powers given to the Courts of Law at Westminster by the Act.
