"In answer to a question from Mr. James, Mr. Fortescue said, that immediately on the receipt of the despatch forwarded from this Country to the Governor of Hong Kong, relative to the imprisonment of Mr. Tarrant, the editor of the "Friend of China", that gentleman was liberated. (Hear.)"
