I have the honor to submit the following statement respecting Ordinance No. 7 of 1860.
By the Ordinance No. 5 of 1858, certain Rules and orders of the Superior Courts at Westminster were extended to this Colony, and such extension was highly desirable. Therefore, when that Ordinance was repealed, it was necessary that provision should be made to continue the operation of these Rules and orders.
