3. The accounts of the Post Office are to be closed on the 30th instant, all liabilities being settled on that day, free from Debt.
The Post Master General, Acting Post Master General, and the persons required to give security are to be paid accordingly.
4. The persons now Employed in the office will - pending reference to the Secretary of State - be continued with the designations and Salaries specified in the annexed list.
The increase in Mr Chapman's Salary will not commence until his return from leave.
6. The private quarters in the Post Office will, in accordance with Colonial Regulation, be rented at #25 per month, the head of the Department having first choice, and so on in order of Seniority.
Until a Shroff is appointed on Reference home, no additional expense beyond the existing rate is to be incurred on account of Agencies.
9. Revenue must be paid into the Treasury weekly; and no deductions are to be made from this revenue as all the Expenditure will be drawn in the manner usual in the Colonial Service.
10. No Rent will be charged on the Post Office Building after the present month.
