This line was roughly defined, formed to the intended levels vide Report and Para 11:6 of 1859, and it is now proposed to complete the road in accordance with the original levels and intention. It will open up ground which I have little doubt will eventually obtain a good sale, but which if not easily accessible from both directions must remain, I propose calling it Robinson Road.
All Bridges and Drains will be formed on a separate Estimate.

The Roads and Streets in this district which I have to advise the construction of are:
Item 1. Streets in Hawan to be formed in conjunction with the drains carried out by Lot WF SYY - by the tenants and Government, the whole of this consists merely in filling in the area to formation level, as the foundations of the houses are mostly on land reclaimed from the sea and require drainage to discharge spring water.

The junction of the Bazar Street at its limit with the village road at the formation of Caulfield Bridge, a proper road 350 feet which will improve the communication between the villages near Shaukiwan Valley and that of New Kwai Chung, as the ground lately reclaimed is distant, 600 - 357 feet.
