Having by desire of His Excellency the Governor inspected the Books and Accounts of the Harbor Master office found after the decease of Mr Newman, I have the honor to submit the following report.
The Harbor Master, as a Collector of Revenue, receives money for Shipping Seamen, for sale of printed forms, and for Emigration Brokers' Licenses.
