time for it's liquidation.
I have further the honor in humbly begging reference to my former Letters addressed to Your Lordship under date 4th August and 15th December last to press again my petition therein set forth. and am induced to hope, that, the fact of my having contracted my misfortunes in the service of Government (consequent on the exposure to all weathers and the incessant and peculiarly harassing Duties devolving on my Department) may so impress Your Lordship, that you may be pleased to put forward your influence with The Right Honorable Sir E. Bulwer Lytton, in my behalf, thereby securing for me either by Exchange or otherwise some appointment in England.
I have the honor to respectfully submit a Medical Certificate from my Medical Attendant having reference to the present state of my health, and have most earnestly and humbly to assure Your Lordship, that, in the event of my prayer being successful, exertion will be strained on my part at all times to merit so benevolent a mark of Your Lordship's favor.
I have the honor to be Your Lordship's most obedient and humble Servant
