upon the subject of the defence of Sir John Bowring in an Action brought against him by Mr Chisholme Anstey, for suspending him (Mr Anstey) from his Offices of Attorney General at Hong Kong; I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty's Treasury, to request that you will move the Duke of Newcastle to cause the Papers on this subject to be forwarded to the Solicitor to this Board.
