Baron Gros has written to express himself in very good terms at the assistance afforded him by some of Her Majesty's ships, when the steamer on which he was on board was in great danger of wreck on the coast of China; as well as at the cordial and hospitable reception with which he was greeted on his arrival at Hong Kong.
