26th ultimo, enclosing a Dispatch from

Lt. J. Bowring of 15th Jan.

with several enclosures on the subject of an application which had been made to him by

W.P. Gerard, the agent of the West India Colonies, to allow a vessel

with Emigrants bound for British Guiana to clear from Hong Kong instead of Macau.
