Davy laid before my Lords Commissioners a copy of the Duke of Newcastle's letter of the 22nd Instant. Their Lordships commanded me to acquaint you, for their information, that the usual warrant has been issued to the Judge of the High Court of Admiralty for the appointment of Hercules Robinson, Robert, Robertson, Esquire, to be Vice Admiral of the Island of Hong Kong and its Dependencies, and that the Patent will remain at the Registrar's office in Doctor's Commons to be taken up.
