Vote for the Passages of Civil
With reference to the fifth item Passages of Convict Warders' the Colonial Office letters of the 4th June 1888, advises that the Paymaster General had been authorised to transfer the amount, but upon enquiry by this office it appears that the authority has not been received there.
No communication has been received from the Colonial Office respecting Passage of the Revd J. S. Glenim forming the last item in the closed statement, nor respecting that of R. Emery which stands fourth on the list.
It appears from the Colonial Office letter of the 4th December 1858, to have been called upon to remit the Prisoner's Passage Money to the Naval Department and would only appear to require remitting; the particulars of his Passage form the 3rd item in the list.
I have the honour to request that you will call attention to these outstanding Balances amounting to £2710 9.8 and outstanding to have them settled.
