The verdict is of course known to His Excellency. I take leave to express hope that the finding of the Jury in this case will not be contrasted with that in the last case of Regina v. Farrant. In that case, the onus probandi (of proving the negative!) was left on the prosecution and the Jury received no directions whatever audibly from the Chief Justice.
