en el que se sirve participarme la comision ultima que le ha sido conferida por el Secretario de Estado de Marina
de adquirir noticias sobre las diversas maderas aparentes para la construccion Naval que se obtienen de los montes de estas Islas.
Para que V.E. pueda desempeñar su cometido, remitiendo los informes que sobre las expresadas maderas se le han pedido, tengo la honra de incluir adjunta nota que me ha sido mandada por el Comandante General de Marina de este Apostadero,
con expresion de los precios a que han sido adquiridas ultimamente piezas de distintas maderas procedentes de las dimensiones consignadas en el extracto que acompaña a su expresado escrito.
Aprovecho gustoso esta coyuntura para ofrecer a V.E. la seguridad de que sera un grato obsequio del Gobierno de S. M. B. en todas ocasiones.
