to transmit to you copy of the Lieut. Governor's despatch
with other documents on this subject, and request that you

bring
them
under the early consideration of

Lords Commiss'rs
of the Treasury.
The Duke of
Newcastle observes
that in the letter
to the Treasury from this office of
the 14th March last
His Predecessor
suggested
an
allowance to
Colonel Caine of £600 per
annum.
His Grace has no
reason
for objecting
to that amount
