this Colony again becoming vacant through the unexpected retirement of Mr Davies, I beg leave, with presumptuous respect, to a second time submit my claims to the succession.

First, Because I have administered the Office of Junior Magistrate for upwards of nine years, and during that period have adjudicated upon three thousand four hundred and fifty-six separate causes, both Civil and Criminal.
