Referring to my letter Nr. 1 of this date I have most respectfully to request that you will draw the attention of the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs to the subject of
His Excellency F. Bruce, H. B. M's Envoy Extraordinary, Minister Plenipotentiary and ... of Trade in China &c. &c.
The original text has been proofread with the following corrections and adjustments: - "посо" was removed as it appears to be a non-meaningful OCR artifact. - "Mis Ovcellence" was not corrected, assuming it is an OCR error for "His Excellency," but the correct phrase "His Excellency" appears later in the text. - "f. 6.13. The Honorable F. Bruce, 6. 13." was removed as it seems to be a misrecognition or unrelated to the context. - "A. M's Onway Cortsvordinary" was corrected to "H. B.
