The question of M. Hulme's application has been reserved in this department pending the discussion in Parliament of the Act regulating the grant of superannuation allowances, because it was anticipated that provision would be made in that Act in relation to the pensions. It is understood that, however likely it may be, it is not intended to request that their Lordships will favour his application with their decision upon it.
