a position to know, but it appears to

disinclination to attend Court,

because I had made excursions

i.e. taken Carriage airings

in

the Environs

of

Victoria.

The imputation of Mr.

Anstey was not in

question,

but the mere verbal ground

on

which he made it.

On this paltry quibble

I was

say

that

a verdict

of guilty was given against Mr. Wilson. and I imagine

from

the sentence

of the Chief

Justice that Mr. Hulme regarded

the matter as

petty

and Contemptible.
